If your Box is not playing music and doesn't emit any sound, follow the next steps:
- Turn down the volume to the minimum. Note: this step is crucial to avoid risk of damaging your amplifier.
- Turn off your amplifiers. Note: this step is crucial to avoid risk of damaging your amplifier.
- Disconnect the box from the power supply
- Connect the Internet cable to the Box
- Connect the audio cable that goes to the amplifier into the Box.
- Reconnect the Box to the power supply. A LED indicator (or a screen in some cases) will light up. If not, try another electrical connector.
- Wait 40 seconds
- Make sure that the volume is at minimum, turn on the amplifier and gradually increase the volume to the desired level.
- The music should start playing.
If that doesn't work, you can try this:
- Turn down the volume and turn off the amplifier
- Disconnect the Box from the power supply
- Connect the Internet cable to the Box
- Reconnect the Box to the power supply, without the audio cable.
- Wait 40 seconds, connect a headset (not hands-free) and check for audio
- If there's music, the problem may be located in the audio cable or audio amplifier.
- If there's no music, the problem is internal to the box and requires the intervention of our support team.
