Factory Reset a Brandtrack Box
Sometimes it may be necessary to restore a Brandtrack Box to its factory settings. To do so, follow the steps below.
⚠️ IMPORTANT:
Performing this action will erase all data from the Brandtrack Box. This will prevent it from playing music and will also stop Brandtrack from connecting remotely to provide support.
Make sure you perform this action together with a Brandtrack agent, or notify that you have completed it by emailing support@brandtrack.fm and indicating the BOX number that was reset.
Requirements
HDMI screen
USB mouse
USB keyboard
1. Factory Reset
Connect the mouse, keyboard, and screen to the BOX.
Connect the BOX to power.
This will turn on the device and enable the connected accessories.When the recovery screen appears, use the keyboard arrow keys to select Factory Data Reset and press Enter to confirm.
Select the option to confirm data deletion.
The Box will restart automatically.
2. Initial Setup Assistant
This step is intuitive. Simply click the Next arrow and configure the following settings:
Language
Time
Set the time zone according to your geographic location.-
Internet connection
An internet connection is required to configure your Brandtrack BOX.
You can:
Configure a WiFi connection
Pre-save the store’s WiFi network if the device will use one
Or connect an Ethernet cable to configure the Box
Once this is completed, the Box will automatically download all necessary applications.
Simply wait until the process finishes.
3. Application Setup
Requirements
Brandtrack PIN available
You can request it from your account administrator or a Brandtrack agent.TeamViewer synchronization link:

Brandtrack Player App
Click the Brandtrack Player App icon.
Enter the new PIN.
Once inside, the app will start downloading the playlist.
Check the arrow icon in the top-right corner to monitor download progress.
Make sure the download completes fully.Click the button in the top-left corner to open the menu.
Select “Start with device”.
Right-click or press the ESC key to return to the main screen.
Result:
Your Brandtrack Box will appear online in the panel my.brandtrack.fm.
TeamViewer
On the main screen, click the key icon in the right-side menu and hold it for 3 seconds.
Enter the administrator code.
⚠️ Important:
Do not modify any other option, as unauthorized changes will invalidate the configuration.
In the Advanced menu, click “Exit to Home”.
In the pop-up window, select Brandtrack Launcher and choose “Just once”.
On the new screen, click the button in the top-right corner.
Open Google Chrome.
Enter the following link and press Enter:
https://get.teamviewer.com/6dq3kn5The TeamViewer HOST app will open automatically and ask if you want to assign it to Brandtrack.
Click Accept.-
Wait for the assignment to complete and return to the main screen by pressing ESC on the keyboard.
Result:
Your player will now be assigned to Brandtrack remote support.
After completing these steps, your Brandtrack Box will be successfully restored and configured.
