🎧 What are Smart Playlists?
Smart Playlists are intelligent playlists that adapt your business's music in real time according to external data and connected integrations. Unlike a traditional playlist, they can automatically change the music style based on variables such as occupancy, reservations, people flow, weather, or schedule.
They work by connecting with tools like Google Places, reservation systems (OpenTable, SevenRooms, ResDiary), POS (Toast, Lightspeed, Square, Oracle), traffic counters (FootfallCam, RetailNext, V-Count), hotel platforms (Cloudbeds), or weather data (OpenWeather).
⚠️ Important: For the Smart Playlist to work correctly, the data source must be active and configured. For example, if you want the music to adapt based on occupancy using Google Places, your store must be properly registered on Google Places. If you want to use reservation or weather data, those integrations must be connected beforehand.
Once configured, Smart Playlists work automatically and turn music into a strategic tool to enhance the customer experience and support your business objectives.
How to request a SMART playlist on MyBrandtrack?
1️⃣ Go to your dashboard and press the last button on the sidebar.
2️⃣ Select “Request custom integration”.
3️⃣ Fill out all the required information in the form.
4️⃣ Done. Our team will receive your request and we will reply to you by email with the next steps.
