Playlists are the lists of songs that get reproduced by the Brandtrack App. You can find them in the Music section of My Brandtrack.

Commercial license playlists

There are 2 types of commercial license playlists in Brandtrack.

Standard

☝️ These playlists are only available in Brandtrack Lite.

These are pre-made playlists that you can choose from to ambient your commercial space in a simple way. Given that they're pre-made, they don't get updated and it's not possible to modify them in any way.

Personalised

☝️ These playlists are only available in Brandtrack Enterprise and Smart.

These are playlists especially mixed by our DJs for your brand based on your concept and your needs for the business. They can be edited and segmented into different intervals of time to play different mixes (for example, play Chill out house in the morning, and tropical house in the afternoon), or programmed to play different mixes in different days of the week.

The personalised playlists are updated by 30% of their content monthly to avoid psychologic fatigue and songs repetition. This is why they also have a minimum of 30 hours of music content, but this can be personalised and adapted to your needs as well.

Royalty-free playlists

These are playlists made with royalty-free content, which means that they're unlicensed and therefore free to reproduce in commercial settings. Although they make costs more affordable, they're of less quality and variety.

Rotation algorithm

The Brandtrack App has also its own rotation algorithm.

Once the app detects the device's switch-on time through its internet connection (which is an automatic process), it checks in its history to select the songs that still weren't played and prioritises them to ensure rotation and avoid fatigue.

☝️ In order to get the most of the rotation algorithm, instead of just lower down the music, switch-off Brandtrack App or turn off the source once your commercial space closes to the public.
