When you are setting up your ad and you reach the last phase, Ad Confirmation, in addition to reviewing your configuration, it's essential to check if your ad has Collisions. If it does, you need to proceed to correct them so that the colliding ads can be played in your spaces.
👉️ What is a Collision?
A collision occurs when two or more ads coincide at the same time they are scheduled to play. In this scenario, none of the ads involved in a collision will play unless one of them has the Priority Ad checkbox selected (you can review this concept in How to set up an Ad).
👉️ Where can I check if my ad has a collision?
In the Ad Confirmation phase, you will find an alert icon in the tab corresponding to Collisions. By clicking on it, you can view a calendar showing the ads that collide and their dates.
If you click on the marked days, a new window will appear, displaying the hours and minutes during which the ads will collide with each other.
👉️ How to resolve a collision?
To resolve collisions, you'll need to adjust the frequency between ads or assign specific start times for playback. This way, you will create a positive gap that will prevent or significantly reduce the number of overlaps in the scheduled playback of the ads in question.
